Our vision is to create moments of happiness and inspire time out moments, one treat at a time.

Supporting our local community and charitable organisations have always been high on our priority list. We are proud of our story and know that our success is dependent on support from individuals and the wider community – that’s why we partner with like-minded organisations and support causes that share our values.

Our support is targeted to the areas of local Ballarat community, health, education, agriculture and supporting women and families.

Rural Aid

Springhill Farm is proud to be able to provide ongoing support to Rural Aid Australia's counselling program which provides critical support to farmers during times of natural disaster. Rural Aid conducted over 2,300 face-to-face and phone counselling sessions in 2018/2019 and is a vital support to rural communities across Australia.

Homework club

Springhill Farm is proud to support the local homework club run by Ballarat Central Uniting Church. The program has been running for over five and a half years, helping children in the community, often from families of newly arrived migrants with their homework; the development of their writing skills and communication skills leading to improved grades.

This program operates without funding with all volunteers dedicating their time to assist the children improve their educational outcomes. The club has found that children work better and are more focused when provided with a healthy afternoon tea which we are happy to be able to provide.

The Soup Bus

We have been donating to the On Track Foundation’s Soup Bus for over 5 years. The Soup Bus provides an after-dark meal service to Ballarat’s homeless and less fortunate and aims to create dignified and respectful interaction with those in the community who are in need of the greatest assistance. The Soup Bus is staffed by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute

Each year we donate delicious snacks to the volunteers who help make the Ballarat Cycle Classic a success. This initiative, a brainchild of the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute aims to raise money for breast cancer research.

Named after Fiona Elsey, a young cancer patient who inspired those around her including her oncologist, family, and community to strive to create a cancer research centre in regional Victoria (instead of research conducted in only major cities). Unfortunately, Fiona lost her battle with cancer in 1991 aged 14 however her dream of a research centre was realised in 1998 and continues strongly to this day.

The Alfred Nurses and Doctors – Care Packages during COVID-19

We are proud to have supported our frontline heroes in a number of ways during the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. One such way included donating delicious treats to be used in care packages for the hard-working nurses and doctors at Melbourne’ Alfred Hospital. We hope that our treats can inspire a time out moment for these very hard-working heroes. Thank you.
